About Me

I'm a UX designer and researcher who loves making things simple, useful, and—dare I say—pleasant. My secret weapons? Curiosity, empathy, and a knack for turning messy problems into elegant solutions. Basically, I ask a lot of questions, care about people, and refuse to settle for "meh."

My path into design wasn't exactly a straight line, and honestly, that's my superpower. I started as an artist, sketching, painting, and dreaming up worlds long before I ever opened a design tool. That creative foundation still fuels everything I do today.

I kicked off my career in print design and marketing, learning the art of visual communication and brand storytelling. Eventually, I found my way into UX, blending that artistic sensibility with marketing insight to craft intuitive, human-centered digital experiences.

Oh, and I have an MBA. That means I can talk design and business in the same sentence without breaking a sweat. It gives me a strategic lens, balancing user needs with organizational goals, so the experiences I create aren't just beautiful, they make sense for the business too.

Looking Ahead

I'm energized by opportunities to grow as a UX leader—shaping clear, human digital experiences, mentoring designers, and helping teams build products that actually improve peoples lives.

I'm happiest where strategy, research, and creativity meet—turning insights into outcomes, and outcomes into impact.

How I Approach My Work

At the heart of what I do is a simple belief: design should make people feel understood. I love chatting with users, hearing their stories, and uncovering the "why" behind their choices. For me, research isn't just a checkbox—it's the heartbeat of great design.

What I Care About:

  • Turning complex systems into something that feels simple
  • Building design systems that are thoughtful, scalable, and don't make future-you cry
  • Creating experiences that respect people's time, needs, and emotions
  • Bringing structure and clarity to the messiest of problems (I secretly love a good mess)

I'm equally happy zooming out to see the big picture and zooming in to obsess over those tiny details that make an experience feel polished and intuitive.

Let's Connect

If you're looking for a design leader who brings empathy, structure, and creative momentum—and a genuine love for making things better—I'd love to connect and build something meaningful together.

Coffee Cup

I'm always up for a chat (coffee, tea, or just strong opinions about UX).

Beyond the Screen

I'm a mom of four, a passionate traveler, and someone who's always chasing the next opportunity to learn something new. When I'm not knee-deep in UX, you'll find me doing something completely predictable, like working on massive acrylic abstract paintings? I also own a fine art creative studio (StudioWildcat), where I "experiment" (make a glorious mess) and call it part of the process. These side projects keep me grounded because nothing says balance like obsessing over color palettes at 2 a.m. They remind me to stay curious, expressive, and open to new perspectives… or at least open to buying more paint.
